Shania Twain’s husband Frédéric Thiébaud knows she’s still the one.
In a touching tribute to the the "Man! I Feel Like a Woman" singer on édéricThiéher 59th birthday, her husband shared a heartwarming glimpse into their 13-year marriage.
Alongside an image of the pair cuddled up in the back of a boat, Frédéric wrote in his Aug. 28 Instagram post, "Happy birthday to this amazing human being @shaniatwain."
Shania commented on the post with three heart emojis and also shared her own celebratory post, writing, "Today is my birthday and I’m feeling like a badass queen! Thank you for all the love and birthday messages, I love you guys!"
And any man of hers wasn't the only celeb joining in the praise of the country icon, as model Miranda Kerr posted an Instagram video of herself dancing with Shania and the caption, "Happy birthday to the one and only @shaniatwain."
The "From This Moment On" singer first met the businessman in Switzerland in the '90s when she and her then-husband Robert "Mutt" Lange hired Frédéric's wife Marie-Anne Thiébaud as a house manager. Shania then separated from Mutt in 2008—after he allegedly had an affair with Marie-Anne—and married Frédéric on New Year's Day 2011.
However, both Mutt and Marie-Anne have denied that infidelity was the cause of his divorce from Shania.
“It’s absolutely not the reason," Mutt previously told People, with Marie-Anne adding, "You cannot believe everything you read in the press."
Though the alleged affair was difficult, the pain ultimately brought Shania and Frédéric together in a way that bonded them forever.
"I got to observe Fred going through the same thing I was and I admired how he handled it," Shania told Redbook in 2011. "That is where I fell in love with him because he was so exemplary in every way."
It’s just one of the qualities she loves about Fred, sharing during a February 2023 appearance on the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast, "Fred's so smart. This is one of the smartest people I know."
